11.7 Family Experience Bible Story!

This week in our FAMILY EXPERIENCE BIBLE STORY video, we begin our new series, SING! Giving God Praise, which focuses on the book of Psalms! We learn that I AM WONDERFUL BECAUSE GOD MADE ME.

You may notice that our weekly videos are a little bit shorter this month than in the past - that is because we have expanded our in-person Family Experience Worship time to make it more meaningful and interactive for you and your families (and shortened the video segment by a few minutes). You can tune in live via Facebook or YouTube every Saturday morning at 11am. If you miss it live, check out the archived video on our YouTube channel or Facebook page - it is always the first part of our livestream of the week!

We are still linking all of the resources here on our website each week so be sure to scroll down to find the list of resources (praise songs, crafts, etc..) that go with this week’s story.

Print the shepherd and the sheep from the link below. Color them and cut them out. Glue them to toilet paper rolls in order to allow them to stand up.

Family Worship Activity: Play a game with your family. Choose one person to be blindfold. Tell them they need to retrieve an object from the room (you choose ahead of time) and bring it back. Let them try…Make sure they don’t hurt themselves or run into anything. Stop them after a few moments and say “great try!” Then, try again, but this time lead them by verbal step by step directions. Make the connection that “it’s so much easier when Im guiding you, isn’t it? I was watching over you the entire time to make sure you didn’t get hurt and you knew the right way to go. Jesus does that too. He watches over us and makes sure we are always safe.”
