Crafts

Shadrach-Meshach-and-Abednego

Materials: Brown paper bag, Scissors, Crayons, Coloring sheet (see link), Glue/tape, Red/orange paper

1. Use brown paper lunch bag, open it, and cut out a “window” in the front of the bag (looking into the furnace)

2. Print coloring page part and cut so the verse can be pasted separately. https://intentionalmomblog.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/fcraft.jpg

3. Color coloring page, cut out, and glue coloring page inside paper bag (on the back of the bag; looking out the window), cut and glue “fire flames” (red and orange paper) on front of bag, glue on or write out verse at top of bag, use red or brown crayon to make brick for the furnace on entire paper bag.

Games/activity

Find things in your house in groups of three (Because there were three men in this story). As they do this, ask your family questions about the story we just heard. (examples are; What did the king our Bible story build? What law did the king make? What would happen to people who disobeyed the kings law? Who disobeyed the law? How did this make the king feel? How many men did the king throw into the furnace? How many men did the king see walking around in the furnace?)
